BATHROOM REMODELING SERVICES

Austin is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. With increasing home values in Austin, remodeling and modernizing seems to be the trend versus buying a new home.

Bathroom remodeling is the main focus at Edwards Remodel Contracting. ERC does one job at a time so we can dedicate all our time to your project. Each phase of the project needs to be done correctly to achieve the proper finish.

When we are building a bathroom, there are no shortcuts. ERC takes the time to refasten and straighten existing framing and properly secure and test plumbing fixtures. We pay attention to all the small details in the finished work, which includes drywall, trim and tile.

We also build ADA compliant custom walk-in showers and curbless roll-in showers with grab bars and a bench.

Full Bathroom Renovations

Edwards Remodel Contracting can help with all your design aspects. There is a lot to consider when designing a bathroom remodel. Our knowledge and experience guarantee your project will go smoothly without any surprises due to overlooking details and inexperience.

Custom Showers

The shower pan is the most important part of the shower building process. If not done correctly, it will leak. After relocating the drain to the center of the new shower pan, the pre-slope is installed. A pre-slope ensures the water will find its way to the drain if the pan should ever leak. Fiberglass is installed over the pre-slope, up the walls 8 inches and then over the curb. The last part of the process in the shower pan is the mud bed. The mud bed is sloped ¼ inch per foot towards the drain.

We build custom wall niches of all shapes and sizes. We also pay particular attention to securing your plumbing fixtures properly to make certain they get installed level and perpendicular to the wall. Edwards Remodel Contracting puts as much effort into the details behind the walls as we do on the finish work.

Tub-to-Shower Conversions

One reason you may consider converting your bathtub to a shower is that a shower is more practical than a tub and it is also safer for those who have limited mobility. Tubs are typically 28-32 inches wide, which is not wide enough for a comfortable shower. In smaller bathrooms where a shower is wanted, we move the toilet and install a 24-inch vanity. This allows a 36-inch shower in an 8-foot-long bathroom.

Tub & Tile Replacements

Removing your dated tile and tub and replacing your tub with a deep-soaker tub is an inexpensive way to update and add some value to your bathroom.
